Below are some examples of how your generous donation to ChildCareGroup will help young children and their families in our programs:
- Use as matching funds to support our Head Start and Early Head Start programs:
- Annually, ChildCareGroup must raise at least 20% in matching funds to supplement the 80% funding we receive from Head Start of Greater Dallas and the US Department of HHS-Administration for Children and Families
- Pay for screening and assessment for a special needs child, and their physical therapy sessions
- Pay for screening and assessment for a special needs child, and their physical therapy sessions
- Purchase new books, puzzles, and learning games for our centers
- Provide a scholarship to one of our centers for a preschool child so a single mother can go to school or train for a job
- Buy diapers and formula for infants and toddlers
